Poirot The Labours of Hercules

In the penultimate film Poirot falls into a deep depression, after his egotism plays a part in the murder of a society girl. It is the desperate plea of a lonely chauffeur (Tom Austen) to find his missing soul mate, which eventually motivates Poirot to get back to work. His quest takes him to the Swiss Alps where he stumbles on clues, which may lead to a very personal showdown.

Virginia Currents: War Veterans Portrait Project; WCVE at 50

Photographer Mark Mitchell and his assistant Caroline Martin record the stories of war veterans for a portrait project called “When We Were Young.” Having served during WWII and the Korean wars, these veterans share stories that reflect times of bravery, tragedy, dedication, duty, solidarity, and even humor. The Virginia Currents crew left the photo/interview session touched by the moving accounts of these humble and proud war veterans.
